Le gouvernement turc a décidé de restreindre les substances dangereuses sur les équipements électriques et électroniques (EEE) : Turquie RoHS. La gestion des déchets d’EEE est également en place.
La Turquie et la directive RoHS de l’UE sont bien alignées. Elles sont identiques :
Par conséquent, les évaluations, les essais et les déclarations des appareils électroniques exportés vers la Turquie doivent être effectués en conséquence.

La réglementation turque relative à la directive RoHS est similaire à la directive RoHS européenne. Les fabricants doivent respecter les seuils de concentration détaillés ci-dessus pour les 10 substances réglementées. Ils doivent également documenter et classer les informations prouvant que leurs produits sont conformes à la législation, et ce pendant 5 ans après la date d’introduction du produit sur le marché. En outre, il est obligatoire de remplir un formulaire de déclaration de conformité et de le soumettre chaque année au ministère turc de l’environnement, de l’urbanisation et du changement climatique (anciennement ministère de l’environnement et des forêts).
Les exigences DEEE de l’UE et de la Turquie sont également similaires, avec l’obligation pour les fabricants et les représentants autorisés de s’enregistrer et de fournir périodiquement des données sur les EEE.
